DESIGNER’S APPROACH
According to Marouen Zbidi’s personal approach to design, contemporary taste and needs should be combined to traditional crafts. Inspired by such a conviction, he decided to launch Nokta and chose the Medina of Tunis as the environment that better matched the style and philosophy of his newly-established label.
His vision is mirrored in Nokta’s collections where functional objects are made respecting production methods still utilised by the traditional craftsmen of the Medina of Tunis.

In the last three years, Nokta has been producing a vast range of products such as clothes, shoes, decorative objects and luminaires.

DESIGNER’S APPROACH
After years of close collaboration with artisans and craftsmen, Chemseddine founded his design label Né à Tunis: a new rediscovery of heritage used as a means to create -or co-create with artisans- contemporary pieces that are part of an ecoconception approach and an exclusively bilateral designer/artisan relation. His signature experimental method of design started with Ludic design and matured to a more diverse way of work, where expertise, resource and human contact intertwine.
