INTERFERENCE Project: Light Painting
A visual documentation is on display.
Here, the series of light paintings is meant to present an overview of the artist’s work as well as of her creative production method.
INTERFERENCE Site: Palais Kheireddine, Museum of the City of Tunis (rue du Tribunal, Tunis)
Light graffitist and photographer Vicki DaSilva creates light compositions for subject or site-specific performances.
One of the initiators of light graffiti photography in the 1980s, Vicki DaSilva utilizes a photographic technique based on long-time exposure whose time of execution may vary from minutes to several hours per photograph.
Her abstract compositions are usually related to architecture, urban and natural landscapes as well as on text-based concepts that suggest political messages.
